Mechanics

Most products need some kind of mechanical parts, right? Think metal cases, plastic covers, and small details like heat sinks. We can design these parts for you and give you the drawings to send to your manufacturer. Or, if you prefer, we can handle the whole process from start to finish, so you get the finished product without the hassle. No need to hunt around for different factories – we'll take care of it all.

Tag reader system

To enhance both security and operational efficiency of its trains, Arlanda Express has implemented a tag reader system developed by us. The previous system, utilizing mechanical square locks, was susceptible to weather conditions and required regular maintenance. Our new system eliminates the need for ongoing maintenance while offering substantially enhanced security

Electromechanical train brake

The world of train braking is being revolutionized by the introduction of advanced electromechanical systems, replacing outdated air brake technology. These innovative systems provide a range of benefits, such as quicker response times, enhanced precision, and simplified maintenance.

Speed limiter for train

The train speed limiter provides a calmer and safer working environment for train drivers. By automating speed control, train drivers have more time to focus on what truly matters: monitoring traffic and ensuring a safe journey for passengers.

Vibration sensor for train tracks

To enhance safety and efficiency in railway operations, we have developed a system for our client that continuously monitors the condition of the railway tracks. By analyzing data from sensors, potential problems can be detected before they lead to service interruptions.

3Nerds.tech was founded by Carl, Viktor, and Adis – three engineers passionate about creating technology that makes a difference. We’ve been collaborating since 2014, and over the years, we’ve worked on numerous exciting projects together.
